In response to physical and emotional stresses, the body tissues contract, and sometimes - particularly when the shock is severe as in a brain injury - can stay contracted. This restriction can affect the body’s ability to function as intended and if not released can lead to further complications. Through CST the held tissue memory has an opportunity to release, enabling the body to return to an easier less restrictive mode.

Boris’ Story and CST

Boris, a father of two with a mind full of knowledge and information worked on a building site for a number of years. In 2001 he had a fall and suffered an injury to the back of his head resulting in him being in a coma for two weeks, after which BorisĀ  was unable to return to work.

Boris was diagnosed with memory loss, ’short attention span’, impaired vision, but also, intolerable dizziness and continuous urination with disturbed sleep. On the days that his dizziness allowed him to leave the house for a few hours he had to plan his route via accessible public conveniences.

Boris has been coming to me for CST for the last few months and very soon he found that he was able to walk down the road without so many familiar stops! Although from time to time Boris has intense dizzy spells, the majority of his days have become manageable and sleep has become less interrupted. He has returned to working out at the gym several times a week and on occasion even claimed that he could now consider returning to work!

“I had one foot in the grave, with your treatments now my future is looking bright. You have done more for my condition in a short time than a medical team did in 6 years!”

I have every hope that with further craniosacral therapy, Boris will continue to improve - Silvana, Craniosacral Therapist
