King’s College London have been commissioned by the Department of Health to carry out this study across the UK.
The study aims to find out whether people who care for adults aged between 18-65 years old with a long term neurological condition can get the replacement care / respite care they need in order to have more freedom outside their caring role.
They also want to know what carers’ past experiences of this type of care have been like and what a ‘five star’ service would be like.
In order to do this they are carrying out a nationwide survey. The survey questionnaire is available by post or online.
