Since January 2010, Coutts Banking Operations staff have have been raising money for Headway East London their chosen local Charity of the Year. Through a number of events and weekly dress down days, staff at the London office have raised £1,601 in the first six months.

The money raised will support physical therapies such as neuro-physiotherapy, exercise therapy, yoga and cranio-sacral at Headway House.

Sandra Ma, Community Fundraiser at Headway East London said: “This is an amazing amount raised by the staff at Coutts Operations Banking. We never thought we would receive this much in the first six months of this partnership and from their staff dress down days initiative! We are trully grateful”

Each year Coutts Banking Operations staff choose a charity as their Local Charity of the Year and twelve other charities to support each year. The partnership which started at the beginning of the year, have seen a number of staff from Coutts Banking Operations visit Headway House and host the Headway East London craft stall during their summer fair in June to further support the organisation.

The next six months of the partnership will see staff raise money for art and music therapy at Headway House.
