100km for Headway East London

James Spake training for 100kmHackney resident James Spake will be running 100km over 10 days in March 2010 to raise awareness about acquired brain injury and raise vital funds to support the work of Headway East London. Acquired brain injury affects over 50,000 people of working age in London.

In summer 2008, James suffered a fractured skull as a result of a skateboarding accident. As a result he also suffered some temporary complications involving facial paralysis and impaired hearing. He is now fully recovered and wants to help others less fortunate than himself who suffer head traumas every year and never recover fully.
